Wow! Agree ako sa Golden Globe Awards at sa Academy Awards (OSCAR).
Ang galing ni Joaquin Phoenix as Johnny Cash & Reese as June Carter Cash.
I love the life story of Johnny Cash. So inspirational!!! There was a reason why he was called the Man In Black of Music. SPOILER: There was an inspiration and it was his older brother who died so young and his father blamed him. Napaka-lonely ng childhood niya. Johnny grew up so poor and had a struggling married life.
He fought a good life for his family and used his talent in country/rock music. It was so inspirational. They say that "black" is a color of depression but Mr. Cash disagreed. It was the color of encouragement.
Then I realized may pagkakahawig pala ang life niya kay Ray Charles. Jamie Foxx was really good in that movie but Joaquin Phoenix is superb here. Wow, I was surprised with his amazing voice. Reese too is so adorable. She can sing the soul of country music. So evocative! Then i realized kahawig niya pala si American Idol Carrie Underwood. Carrie sings country too.
I love the sound mixing of the film. I heard it was nominated too. Im not really familiar with the music of Johnny Cash & June Carter but i love the songs!!! Country rock really rocks!!!
Watch this multi-awarded film.
If music is your life this will add some spice I guarantee. The film will be treasured especially to all Johnny Cash & June Carter fans out there.
