ARCHULETA, AM I LOSING MY GRIP?
1.MICHAEL JOHNS – grabe ang stage production! Ganda ng lights. Ganda ng camera movements. It's so unfair kasi sa kanya lang may ganito. Well, deserving naman si MJ dahil ang galing talaga!
2. RAMIELE – grabee ang kaba ko sa Alone performance niya. Oh my God bakit itong song?

QUIT & FIGHT
EPISODE 7 HIGHLIGHTS
Argument in Malakal: To kill the chickens or Not? Tracy wanted to kill them to have meat. Ozzy refused coz they were laying eggs. Ozzy prevailed!
Ozzy & Erik's bonding like Mufasa & Simba. Cirie was jealous.
REWARD CHALLENGE: MONEY ROLL
For this challenge, tribes will work with traditional Micronesian money-stones, large wheel-shaped stones standing almost as tall as the Survivors themselves, once used as currency by the native people. Four blindfolded teammates will use long, wooden handles attached to the stones to steer them through a jungle course riddled with rocks and stumps. Two other teammates will act as callers, verbally directing their blindfolded teammates to four ground-level stations. Pushing the stones through each station, the weight of the stone will crush tiles cradled at each post. Here, they'll find a pair of smaller money-stones that will be used to solve a rotating-cog puzzle, a series of flat-laying pegged-wheels that spin and rotate to fit all eight money-stones. The first tribe to complete the puzzle wins Reward. The winning tribe will enjoy a trip to the Herbal Essences Great Escape Spa, and the chance to refresh themselves with Herbal Essences products and indulge in a tasty snack. The winning tribe will also send a member from both tribes to Exile Island.
Malakal finally won a challenge! I was so happy for them. Jason was sent to exile again and Tracy was voted by Ozzy to go with him. She wasn't able to participate the reward. Poor girl.
It's nice to see Ozzy & Amanda refreshed themselves. Whew so sexy!!!!
Kathy was complaining about the heavy rain and she was just feeling exhausted.
Kathy exclaimed, "This is the stupidest thing I’ve ever done in my life. This is the dumbest thing I've ever done."
She quit the game and left the island. When Jeff informed this news during the Immunity Challenge everyone at Malakal was shocked!
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: WHAT-ER DRAG
One at a time tribe members will race across a floating bridge out to a platform in the water, while pulling with them a long rope attached to a giant wench back on the beach. Once they reach the platform, they will clip the rope onto large folded puzzle pieces and hang on to it as the rest of the tribe cranks the giant wench, pulling them and the puzzle piece through the water back to shore. Once the tribe has collected all five puzzle pieces, two tribe members will unfold the giant puzzle pieces and fit them together to form a large puzzle in the shape of a perfect square. The first tribe to solve the puzzle wins Immunity and is safe from Tribal Council.
It was nice to see how Ozzy played the game. Malakal was leading all the way. He was the ultimate force of the tribe. Unfortunately, Amanda & Cirie wasn't able to complete the puzzle and Airai overtook them. Airai won the Immunity.
Ami was planning to blindside Ozzy together with Erik & Tracy. Ozzy wanted to save Erik and wanted Tracy out.
In the end, the tribe decided to keep their leader and their strength Ozzy, as Tracy casted the lone vote for Ozzy, and the rest of the tribe unanimously voted her out. Tracy becomes the ninth person to leave SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA -- FANS VS. FAVORITES.

ARCHULETA BOUNCES BACK!!!
The TOP 11 Performance Night of American Idol 7 was either a blast or a flop.
The judges were not impressed with the rest except David Archuleta who received
unanimous approval from the three judges.
My comments & ranking:
1.David Archuleta – I agree he really shines in his rendition of The Long and Winding & Road. Bravo bravo!!!!
2.Ramiele Malubay – hmmmm...it's not a winning performance but it's really cute and joyful. Nakakatuwa siyang tingnan. Cute cute cute.
3.Syesha – hmmmm.... at least di gaano nagsisigaw at aba aba aba!!! Nagpa-straight ng hair ang lola.
4.Carly Smithson- ok nice vocals pero napaka-angry ng version niya ng Blackbird. Sarah McLachlan's rendition is still the best!!!
5.Brooke White – I think rip-off ang version niya. She did Sheryl Crow's version which can be heard in Bee Movie OST. Pero litaw pa rin ang cool voice niya.
6.David Cook – Gusto ko nang matanggal ang mayabang na ito! Naaasar ako sa pagmumukha ng engot na ito. Feeling niya ang galing niya!!!! Duh....
7.Jason Castro – eto pa ang pang-asar sa TV. Di naman kagandahan ang boses. Di naman tantalizing eyes niya na pilit niyang ginagawa. Ha ha ha! Patawa ang taong ito. Di naman nag-sham-shampoo ang lolo.

INJURED & INFECTED IN MICRONESIA
EPISODE 6 HIGLIGHTS

The remaining fans from Malakal tribe cajoled Ami to be part of their alliance.
Ami agreed with them.
Reward Challenge: Build It Up, Break It Down
Both tribes will swim across a lagoon to a floating platform to collect several bundles of planks, sticks, and rope. They’ll race back to shore where two 15 foot-long bamboo-cage tunnels await them. Tribes will have ten minutes to use their gathered materials to build a blockade in the opposing tribe’s tunnel. When time’s up, the tribes will then race to tear down the blockade the other tribe built in their own tunnel. The first tribe to get all their members through their barricaded tunnel and onto their tribe mat wins Reward. Two native Micronesian Fishermen will visit the winning tribe’s camp and teach the Survivors how to live off the land. In addition, the winning tribe will choose a member from both tribes to go to Exile Island.
Malakal was leading all the way again but unfortunately the Airai tribe overtook them once again.
Chet was sent to exile together with Jason.
Jonathan's injured knee was examined by the medical team and it was found out to be fatal. The doctor advised him to leave the game and go to the hospital for proper treatment.
Jonathan said goodbye to his tribe.
It was an emotional goodbye.
The Airai enjoyed their reward so much. 2 Micronesians visited them and taught them some survival skills.
Back at Exile Island, Jason was looking for the hidden immunity idol while Chet stayed on the beach coz his foot was bruised. Jason found the fake immunity idol that Ozzy carved the last time he went to Exile island and found the real one. Jason was so happy coz he thought he has it and Ozzy didn't found it!
Immunity Challenge: United We Stand
Tribes will transport two tribemates from one tower to the next, in waist-deep water, using giant stepping poles that the rest of the tribe must support. The tribe members making the crossing will effectively leapfrog from one pole to the other across the lagoon to the second platform. Once both tribemates are transported, the entire tribe must then climb atop a third and final tower and squeeze onto a tiny wooden platform. The first tribe with all seven members on or above the top platform wins Immunity. I thinks this was played in Fiji or Cook Islands before. Yeah, Cook Islands.
The Airai used a different strategy. James just carried Eliza as she perched on the pole all the way to the second tower same with Parvati. The Malakal did the actual rule.
The good strategy from Airai made them win this challenge.
A blindside plan was made by Erik & Tracy. Who was the target?
OZZY!!!!! No way!
Chet asked the whole tribe to vote him out so that he can take care of his infected foot.
Tracy was hesitant. She was asking him to vote against Ozzy.
At the tribal council, I was shocked to see the person who was booted out!
It was CHET!
He received 5 votes and surprisingly nobody voted against Ozzy instead Erik got 2 votes from Chet & Tracy.
I must say Amanda is really hot!!!! Good luck Girl!!!

ONE-WOMAN-SHOW
LA VIE EN ROSE
If you're familiar with the life of Edith Piaf, then don't miss this one.
If you're a huge fan of Marion Cotillard, then don't miss her Oscar winning performance too.
If you're a pocorn flicker, nah... skip this one.
I became excited when Marion won at the Oscars. I haven't seen the film when she won that day so I was really looking forward to catch this on DVD coz I heard that it has been already released. Unfortunately, this film won't be shown on the big screen yet in the Philippines maybe this coming CineEuropa I guess.The other day I went to Qdessy and luckily found a copy.
While I was watching Edith Piaf's bio-film. I just couldn't stop praising Marion's acting. She's really amazing. Hands down!!! What an unforgettable performance in the history of French & Hollywood films!I knew that she couldn't sing. When she is singing in the film, wow she is just marvelous. According to what I've read, Jil Aigrot provides the singing voice. Nice lips sync there Marion!!!
The only thing worth complaining here is the screenplay and editing, They are fractured from the beginning til the end. There are so many confusing flashbacks. I was perplexed sometimes when new characters suddenly appear in a scene. Like who is he? Where did she come from? What happened? Oh my God I was lost. Since I'm not a francophile, I was reading the subtitles the whole time. Yeah, this is a French film. Oh I really love watching their films.
Marion Cotillard has won four Best Actress Awards for her portrayal of Edith Piaf in La Vie en Rose: -The Golden Globe for Best Actress in a Leading Role, Motion Picture (musical or comedy) -The BAFTA Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role -The Academy Award (Oscar) for Best Actress in a Leading Role -The César (equivalent to the Oscars in France) Award for Best Actress in a Leading Role
At the Academy Awards, the film also won best Makeup, and at the BAFTAs won Best Makeup and Costume Design. I totally on the make-up. Incredible job from the artists!!!!

I'm not recommending this French f you want to enjoy the film and fall in love with songs unless you're a Piaf fan. I'm only recommending this if you're curious about Marion's acting.

I became excited when Marion won at the Oscars. I haven't seen the film when she won that day so I was really looking forward to catch this on DVD coz I heard that it has been already released. Unfortunately, this film won't be shown on the big screen yet in the Philippines maybe this coming CineEuropa I guess.The other day I went to Qdessy and luckily found a copy.
While I was watching Edith Piaf's bio-film. I just couldn't stop praising Marion's acting. She's really amazing. Hands down!!! What an unforgettable performance in the history of French & Hollywood films!I knew that she couldn't sing. When she is singing in the film, wow she is just marvelous. According to what I've read, Jil Aigrot provides the singing voice. Nice lips sync there Marion!!!
The only thing worth complaining here is the screenplay and editing, They are fractured from the beginning til the end. There are so many confusing flashbacks. The New Airai :Jonathan, James, Parvati, Eliza, Alexis, Natalie, Jason, and Kathy.
Reward challenge:
Tribe members will be divided into pairs and harnessed together. Each round, a harnessed pair from one tribe will chase a pair from the other tribe through a muddy obstacle course, attempting to grab a flag off the opposing tribe's back. Each time a pursuing pair successfully gets a flag they score a point for their tribe. To make things interesting, the chasing pair has only 60 seconds to capture the other tribe’s flag. If they fail to do so, the fleeing tribe scores the point. First tribe to three points wins Reward: a steak barbecue with all the fixings, wine, and spices. To give the new tribemates a chance to get to know each other, no one will be sent to Exile Island.
Injuries happened during this challenge. Parvati got a fat lip. Jonathan's knee cap was ripped by something. Ami also tweaked her knees. But watching Joel dragging Chet like a rag doll at the last match was really painful. Oh my God!!!! It was really excruciating.
The New Airai won the reward.
Around night at Airai Jonathan was operated due to his painful injury. I was cringing watching the stitching of his wound.
The next day, Airai built a new shelter. Meanwhile in Malakal, Amanda caught a 4-feet shark. She's amazing and Ozzy loved her!!! Kilig!!!
Immunity Challenge: A Stone's Throw
At the Immunity Challenge, four members from each tribe will alternate throwing rocks at suspended ceramic tiles, breaking them to release four bundles of wooden puzzle pieces. Collecting all four bundles and handing them off, three other tribe members will race to assemble the pieces with help from a caller on top of a tower. The first tribe to solve their puzzle wins Immunity and is safe from Tribal Council.
In this challenge, Malakal was leading all the wasy! Unfortunately, Chet was really poor in giving directions and Joel was also interrupting. They lose again! So sad.
TRIBAL COUNCIL
It was a toss between the strongest & the weakest.
Surprise surprise!!!! Joel was voted off!
He was really angry about the results.
A completely stunned Joel wass sent home as the fifth person voted out of SURVIVOR: MICRONESIA – FANS VS FAVORITES.

LUKE - Oh my God! So gay!!! He was really horrible. His song was “Wake Me Up” but I fell asleep.
DAVID ARCHULETA – I still like him despite some flaws in his “Arch style”. It's amazing to see him playing the piano this time.
DANNY NORIEGAY – Finally I like him!!!! Oh God I love his attitude. I love his performance. He is really “TMTH” !!! Go Danny!!!

Next on my “gay indie film marathon” last Sunday ay itong “Ang Lihim ni Antonio”.
From the makers of Ang Lalake sa Parola, nagbalik uli sila with an explosive and very controversial
gay film so far.
Ang kuwento nito ay tungkol kay Antonio. 15- year old guy na may identity crisis. Gusto ko sanang kausapin ang writer nito kung kilala niya ba ako. ***cough***ahem!!! Some parts of the film ay part din ng buhay ko. I will reveal them later.
Intoducing sa film na ito si Kenjie Garcia as Antonio! Wow! Good job Direk Joselito Altarejos at naipalabas mo ang acting ng batang ito at naipalabas mo rin ang nota niya! ha ha ha!Seriously, kung sa Parola eh gusto mong batuhin yung main actor dahil sa kanyang horrible at forgettable acting. Ano nga ba name ng actor na yun? Di ko na nga rin matandaan eh! Well, si Kenjie amazing ang batang ito! Bata pa magaling nang chumupa! Seriously! Kenjie is a promising young actor. Kinilabutan ako doon sa rape scene. Putang ina madadala ka sa sigaw at iyak niya. Lahat ng scenes pang-award ang delivery niya.
Nandito rin si Shamaine Buencamino as Nanay Tere ni Antonio. Hindi na kailangang ang over-the-top performance na pasigaw sigaw. Iba ang style ni Shamaine. Tahimik pero puno ng emosyon.Lalo na doon sa mga final scenes alam ko mapapansin siya doon ng mga award-giving bodies ng Pinas. Hopefully. Sa ibang bansa rin.
Agaw pansin din si Jiro Manio bilang bestfriend ni Antonio. Ang kulit ng character niya. If ever si Jiro ang gaganap na Antonio eh malamang kaya rin niya. Di ko lang alam kung kaya rin niyang humawak ng titi. Si Kenjie kasi ang galing humawak! Unforgettable ang mga questions ni Jiro sa pelikula.
Nagpachupa ka na ba? Nagtirahan kayo sa puwet? Sinong bakla sa inyo? Pamatay na dialogues! I'm glad maluwag ang MTRCB kasi kung di sinali ang mga vulgar words na ito eh malamang walang saysay.
Nandito rin ang hunk na si Josh Ivan Morales. Di ko siya kilala. Pero na-love at first sight ako sa kanya. Siya ang Tito Jun ni Antonio na nag-bakasyon pansamantala sa kanila habang inaasikaso ang mga papeles bilang seaman. Predictable ang pasok ni Tito Jun sa story as the film moves on. Expected na may mangyayari eventually sa kanila ni Antonio at alam ng audience yun. Antapang ni Josh dito. “Galit na galit” siya dito kaya humanda kayong mga bakla! Walang sinabi yung taga-Parola!
Pag-usapan natin ang mga maseselang eksena.
Shocking sa akin ang sex ng 2 teenager. Di ko akalain na mangyayari yun. Di ko akalain na bibigay si Nathan, other friend ni Antonio. When I was watching that scene, putang ina nagbalik sa memory ko ang aking “boys scout camp experience”. Wanna hear my story? OK. Grade 6 pa ako noon. Boy scout competition sa lahat ng district schools. Camping namin malapit din sa forest. 2 boy scouts per tent. Siyempre tent mate ko bestfriend ko na crush ko rin pero di niya alam.Boy na boy talaga ako noon. Walang nakakaalam na may sikreto na ako. On our second night, naganap ang di inaasahan. Kung ano yung ginawa ni Antonio sa friend niya ginawa ko rin except yung espadahan nila. I just kissed my friend and fondled his manhood.I think he was just pretending to be sleeping kasi later on when I was pretending to be sleeping too he also kissed me on the lips and we were embracing so tight til the morning.Pag naalala ko yun eh napapangiti na lang ako. Naulit din ang ganung expereince during our CAT-COCC Training. Yup officer ako ng CAT. That time may ilang guys na ang nakakaalam sa lihim ko. Ilan lang yung mga kabarkada ko lang. Tang-ina bakit alam ng writer na ginagawa ko rin ito?
Ito ang pinaka-sensitive sa lahat! Disturbing masyado ang rape scene ni Antonio. Ang galing ng pag-kagawa! Great acting from Kenjie & Josh. Habang pinapanood ko yun bumalik din sa alaala ko ang naudlot na rape sa akin. Yup, second year high school ako noon. Gabi yun at inutusan bumili sa tindahan. May sumitsit sa akin that time at nangggaling yun sa isang bakanteng bahay. Pinsan (3rd degree) ko pala ang sumitsit at nasa 20's na siya kasama niya yung kaibigan niya na nasa college. Pinapasok niya ako kaagad at pilit na pinainom ng tuba. Alak ito sa Visayas. Tinanggihan ko agad kaya sinabi niya “kung hindi ako iinom eh ipapachupa niya raw titi nila”. Natakot ako that time kasi bale first time ko yun at di ko alam paano gawin yun. Mabilis ang pangyayari dahil bigla na lang silang naghubad pinilit na pinasubo ang ang mga titi nila. Putang ina nila talaga! at naiiyak ako na nasusuka. Ambaho ng mga titi nila tapos maliit pa bibig ko noon nahihirapan ako isubo. Pero nang hinubaran ako ng short at pinilit na pinasok ng pinsan ko ang titi niya sa puwet ko eh pumalag na ako. Naramdaman ko ang hapdi kaagad kaya tinulak ko siya. Lasing na sila ng konti kaya nakatakbo ako. Walang nakakaalam sa nangyari kinabukasan at sa mga nagdaang taon. Ngayon ko lang na-confessed ito. Online pa! Well, wala na naman sa akin ang pangyayaring yun. Naranasan ko na kasi on my adult years.Ha ha ha! Natatawa na lang ako pag naalala ko yun. Siguro kung natuloy yun at nahuli kami ng Tatay ko malamang bugbog sarado ang pinsan ko. Baka nga mapatay pa siya.
Di ko na lang sasabihin anong nangyari after the rape scene ni Antonio para hindi pa masyadong spoiled. All I can say is that it was really tragic.
All in all, it was an OK gay film. May mga technical loopholes pero din naman pansinin. Emotional masyado ang film. Natumbok nito ang ilang lihim ng lipunan. Kung sa Ang Lalake sa Parola eh malibog, maaliwalas ang cinematography at malalim ang story. Dito sa Lihim, matapang. Pang-Oscar ang acting, great screenplay, eye opener at higit sa lahat enjoy pa rin ang mga malilibog.
On its 3rd week, malakas pa rin sa Galleria. Congrats sa lahat ng gumawa nito! Congrats kay Kenjie! Ang galing mo 'tol!

Aware ako na may 3 gay films na palabas sa Galleria last week. Kaso wala pa talaga kong time sa sobrang busy sa work.Good thing nabigyan ako ng night off kaya I decided to watch Day Break & Ang Lihim ni Antonio last Sunday. Una kong pinanood ay Day Break dahil naabutan ko ang tamang screening time. Natawa agad ako pagpasok kasi marami nang nakarampa sa Cinema 8 ng Gale Movieworld. As usual, front row talaga ako. Afterwards may nag-cruise malapit sa seat ko. Dead ma ko lang kasi di ko type.
Before nag-start ang film pinakita ang trailer ng Selda another gay movie na panonoorin ko rin soon kasi it looks promising.
Ayan start na! First scene na pinakita ay ang Taal Volcano around 6 am ata yun, as in wow!!! I fell in love sa mga shots ni Direk Adolf Alix Jr. Kung naibigan nyo ang mga scenes sa Batanes dito hindi rin naman nagpatalo si Adolf. Soothing ang dating kahit may melancholy mood ang fog effects sa pool with JP played by Coco Martin. Napaka-sad tingnan ang scene na yun. Maganda ang mga internal shots ng bahay. Cool ang move ng camera lalo na doon papasok kung saan nasa mirror si Paolo. Ok din ang mga frames with the venetian blinds. Yun ba tawag doon sa window curtains? Basta artful tingnan! Remarkable shots!
Then pumasok si William played by Paolo Rivero in his car driving to Taal. Hindi ko siya feel kasi hindi siya pogi sa lahat ng eksena. Minsan cute siya pero minsan panget siya tingnan. Pero si Coco talaga ang pamatay sa lahat. Lahat ng eksena, lahat ng anggulo ng camera masarap siyang panoorin. Ang lambing ng mata niya, mga labi niya'y sarap papakin ha ha ha! Lalo na ang moreno skin niya na naka-el na kahit di ka mag-viagra eh mabubuhay ang Junior mo.
