Nakakapagod ang scary film na ito.
Parang Texas chainsaw Massacre din ang effect pero mas brutal ito.
Pwede ring i-compare sa Hostel.

Bring water while watching it kasi hiningal at nauhaw ako.

I think the movie is just average.Trying hard maging poetic.

I like though it coz of its beautiful scenery.Beautiful cinematography!!!Amazing production design.I love the wedding night in the river.That was remarkable.


The director isn't bad after all. Of course may touch pa rin si Kevin Reynolds. It's like watching Robin Hood (Prince of Thieves) & The Count of Monte Cristo. Two of his remarkable films.
Sa totoo lang ha. Parang miscast si James Franco as Tristan. Hindi sila bagay ni Sophia Myles(Isolde). Hindi appealing ang aura ni James. In fact his role as an English warrior di rin bagay. Hindi ko nahalata ang accent. Wala akong napansin na British accent sa kanya. Sophia is ok.May pagka-Rachel Weisz ang dating niya.

Ito pa I love the artistic lovemaking scenes. Hindi siya bastos. No wonder naging R-13 pa siya rito. Honestly, Tristan & Isolde's love scenes are simple. Di ko na-feel. For me, Lord Marke & Isolde's love scenes are way too hot.Maybe because Lord Marke (Rufus Sewell) is really manly and handsome.You will definitely fall in love with Lord Marke in this film i bet. Not with Tristan sad to say.

Well, I'm recommending this. It's just ok. Parang soft-Braveheart naman ang dating.Just don't expect too much.

SURVIVOR ANTARCTICA : CASTAWAY DOGS

Truly inspiring!!!

I love it coz it's like watching the reality series SURVIVOR but this time the dogs are the castaways of course minus the tribal council.

Just like Survivor, the film shows the survival days of the dogs. They even have reward challenges. Watch out for the BIRDS CHALLENGE and the LEOPARD SEAL CHALLENGE(a bit scary here).

Who is the SOLE SURVIVOR?
It's MAYA. Jerry Shepard's favourite bitch. I mean girl dog.
Paul Walker (Jerry Shepard)gave justice to his role. He is amazing.


Kudos to the dogs of course.
Maya and Max made me cry.
Great acting from Old Jack, Shorty, Shadow, Dewey, Truman and Buck too.
The sled dogs are well-trained.
Just what I said, it's like Survivor. Somebody will be voted off. Here in Eight Below, I was sad coz 2 canines were voted off(you know what i mean).
I cried honestly.

Some of my friends reacted coz it's impossible daw to make a story like that. There were no witnesses during their SURVIVOR ANTARCTICA days. Who told the days? the actual dogs' story?
U mean the dogs retold them?

I laughed actually. I told them EIGHT BELOW is INSPIRED by a True Story.
It wasn't BASED on a Real Events/Story.
Make sense?

Well, it's so perfect coz 2006 is YEAR OF THE DOG.

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED FOR ALL AGES.
