Hot!!! The cinema was freezing but my temperature that afternoon was rising.
“Caution: Lust” I mean Lust, Caution is the title of the film from my fav auteur “the bold and stylish Mr. Ang Lee”.
Note the film is subtitled so be prepared to read throughout the movie.
This film is based on the short story by Eileen Chang published in 1950 but I am not familiar with it. Sad to say.
The film adaptation is about an espionage thriller set in 1942

Honestly, I really don’t know why Ang Lee went too far in making this film. I was flabbergasted to ogle too much sex in a film. I can’t breathe honestly. Grabe ang mga kangakangan scenes! Hanep si Ang Lee hanep ka pare! Prepare a bottle of soda or water is my best advice.Actually I did something kasi di ko na kaya. 5 lang kami sa Robinsons Pioneer that afternoon ako lang sa DeLuxe yung apat sa taas. Nag-iinit ako kaya pinaglaruan ko si Junior! Ha ha ha! Better watch it alone if you’re a guy dating a girl you’re still courting. I mean stay away from temptations. This is a good film for married or live-in couples. Ang Lee is an awesome director. Oh my Ang Lee-bog mo pare! LOL!
Kudos to Tang Wei as Wang Chia Chi coz this is her debut film and she shines so effulgent. Of course, Tony Leung as Mr. Yee is really convincing.
