Well, medyo Ok naman story kasi all about wedding plans.
Inspiring konti naman.
May aral din “na before ka magpatali sa kama este sa kasal you must know your future husband & wife at least!



Worst lang eh ang mga jokes at script nito.
Patawarin sana writer nito dahil super bad talaga.
Di nakakatawa! For me lang ha di ako natawa.
Ewan ko lang siguro kung super babaw ng kiliti mo baka matawa ka.



Haaay… magaling sana na comedian si Robin Williams pero walang siyang dating rito.
Si Mandy Moore naman same acting pa rin kung anong nakita ko sa kanya sa “Because I Said So”. Etong si John Krasinski lang ang convincing. Parang naging movie nga niya ito. Di siya guapo magaling lang siya na actor. Yun lang.





Another worst movie of 2007 na naman ito. Candidate sa Razzie awards for sure.
Sana man lang mabigyan ng challenging role si Mandy Moore next time.



Recommended ko ba? Obvious ba?

Nood ka na lang A Walk To Remember uli kasi eto ang all time fav Mandy Moore film ko.

Pasaway talaga itong si Lindsay! Ewan ko ba sa lukaret na ito at nawindang ang buhay.
Well, itong latest movie niya na I Know Who Killed Me na nag-flopped sa US di naman totally flopped kasi maliit lang naman budget nito. Napakagulo at parang di convincing ang story.
Kasinggulo ng pubic hair ni Lindsay!


Naiirita na kasi ako nang makaabot na ako sa kalahati ng movie. >:(Sumakit na ulo ko kasi! In fairness, convincing ang acting ni Lindsay atmagaling siyang umarte bilang prosti.


Hanep palang gumiling ito sa dilim. Eto kasi role niya. Dalawa role niya rito. Isang student at isang hooker. Kung may balak ka na panoorin ito di ko sasabihin ang ilang details ng story kasi yun ang pinaka-twist ng movie. May twist naman siya mabuti naman kasi pag wala eh tuluyan akong ma-bad trip. Dahil magaling si Lindsay sa role niya dito makakalimutan mong nanggaling siya sa mga Disney movies. Medyo may mga pumping scenes siya dito. Nalokah talaga ako sa kanya. Feel na feel ng bruha. Shocking!


Ok lang ang pagkagawa ng movie kasi maganda naman ang editing. Ginawa naman nila itong art film at medyo pasado naman konti. Well, gusto ko lang ang texture ng movie. Yun lang.



Basta ang story lang nito ang nakakabad-trip kasi nakakabaliw. Well siguro kung ganun ang intention nila wow effective ha! Naku ang ending pala nito eh parang ewan.
Ano ba? Malabo pa sa tubig ng Ilog Pasig. Alam ko self-explanatory pero dapat may konting relief man lang kasi halos na-tortured isip ko di ba?

Tingin ko candidate ito bilang isa sa worst movies of 2007. Di ito papasa sa taste ng mga critics.



Out na kasi ang DVD nito. Pero di ko siya totally recommended kasi magagalit kayo sa akin pag pinilit ko kayo na panoorin ito. Basta kung may extra money ka lang at wish mo makita ang kaelyahan ni Lindsay? Go Brother watch mo na ito.

EVER AFTER ON MCDREAMYLAND

“Enchanted” for me is the sweetest & cutest modern fairy tale I’ve ever seen in a coon’s age.



Oh I love the new princess created by Disney. Giselle already belongs to the group of Cinderella, Sleeping Beauty, Snow White and the rest of the lovely princesses from Disneyland. This time the enchanting princess found her true love in McDreamyland.
How lovely to see their sweet & enthralling “ever after”.

Amy Adams is a perfect choice for Giselle. She is an Academy Award nominee and she naturally possessed the charm of a lovely princess. Her singing voice is truly sweet and magnificent. You will love her. When I first saw Amy Adams in “Catch me If You Can” I knew from the start that she will shine someday. Now her she is captivating the whole world!
The character of Giselle is like a combination of Snow White, Cinderella & Sleeping Beauty.



Then there’s our modern Prince Charming McDreamy. Patrick Dempsey aka Dr. Shepard is still McDreamy. He plays the role of single father with a little girl. He is the most alluring and sexiest father ever. There’s something in his eyes that makes you dreamy. Oh he is hot in Grey’s Anatomy but he is more scorching when he is wholesome and a charming gentleman. I bet the ladies will love him more here.

Great acting from Susan Sarandon & James Marsden by the way!




The story is basically a modern fairy tale. If you saw the trailer then you know the synopsis already. It’s really predictable but I don’t care! The royal voice of Julie Andrews was heard at the start because she narrated the story. I love the “pop-up effects” animation coz it’s effective for the kids. They will love it.
Watching “Enchanted” is like being told a story while you’re in bed ready to slumber.


You know what? Watching the first 10 minutes of this film made me laugh coz I remember watching classic Disney animations. I missed the old school animations. Hollywood is now into 3D CGI films I just hope Disney will make a full-length of traditional animation again.

This film is created to melt our heart (in my case) just by listening to the songs composed by the magnificent tandem of Stephen Schwartz & Alan Menken. These guys also brought us immortal songs and score from The Little Mermaid, Beauty & the Beast, Aladdin, Pocahontas etc.. I love the new songs. Prince Edward & Princess Giselle’s song “True Love’s Kiss is undeniably the “hook” of the movie. It’s really magical. I think you will also like the groovy and funny “Happy Working Song” by Amy Adams. Then there’s a truly amazing song “That’s How You Know” also from her. It really brought the house down! I love the choreography of the song in Central Park.


Awesome! Of course there must be a ballad! Well, Jon McLaughlin’s So Close is perfect for the night. His song is quiet nostalgic but it’s mellifluous. Then here comes the song I’ve been waiting to hear for months. Billboard/ AMA/Grammy Award Winner, Multiplatinum Artist & my all time American Idol Carrie Underwood performed the theme song “Ever, Ever After”. I already love it! It’s a catchy country/pop song. I’m so glad they let her sing the theme song. Carrie is now part of the Disney family. I just can’t wait to buy the OST.

Hanep!!! I love the Ouagadougou Leg. The what???
Ha ha ha!!! Even the racers couldn’t properly pronounce the place.
Alam mo ba saan ang Ouagadougou? It’s in Burkina Faso, Africa.
Nakaka tuwa sila kasi the moment they depart from the mat and read the next destination
I was rolling on the floor laughing kasi it’s like watching them doing a tongue twister.
Hilarious!


All of them secured a flight from Paris to Ouagadougou. So equalized lahat!
The moment the plane landed in the city habulan to the max na lahat to get a cab papuntang train station coz they were heading to a destination in the middle of nowhere called Bingo.
By the way sa train, uncomfy mga blondes kasi na culture shocked sa Africa,
Ang arte nila.


Roadblock: MILK THE CAMEL.
Nakakatuwa mag-milk ang maarteng blonde na si Jennifer. Daming arte ang bruha.
Si Lorena naman sinabi na ngang wag mag-sisigaw habang ginagatasan here she is
Umiiyak parang bata. “Lord give me some milk!” Well, breakdown talaga siya kasi lahat ng teams nakatapos na sila na lang nila Marianna & Julia natira sa roadblock.



DETOUR: TEACH OR LEARN.


Well, my fav team Azaria Hendekia decided to learm kasi 10 words lang naman.

Perfect choice they finished the task so fast and sprinted all the way to the pit stop FIRST PLACE!

Etong thrilling kasi 4 teams naghabulan for 2nd place. Footrace talaga!
My fav TK & Rachel placed 2nd, 3rd naman fav ko uli Nathan & Jennifer.
4th The Freaks. Nakahabol sa 5th place sila Nicolas & Donald. By the way, Ronald suffered hernia while racing pero 6th place pa rin sila. Masakit daw pag tumatakbo. Bakit pa kasi siya sumali ano?

Di masyadong exposed ang Gothic couple this leg. Ewan ko ba?

Well, the shocked blonde in Africa finished 7th with crying crying pa on the mat. They really wanted to win the race.

All 7 teams nasa pit stop na pero the two remaining teams nasa roadblock pa.
Marianna & Julia finished at last and headed to the detour. Actually mabait pa ang mga sister kasi she told Lorena to try the camel with a baby kasi marami daw milk.
Lorena did what she said and eventually she finished the tast so quickly.
Nakakaiyak nga kasi he asked his bf Jason if he still loves her despite the roadblock breakdown. Mahal na mahal pa raw niya no matter what. Hayyy… kilig ako.

Tight ang race sa DETOUR kasi halos magkasabay lang. Both teams chose LEARN IT. Luckily, Lorena & Jason finished the task 1st. After a few minutes, the sisters were done too and both were heading to the pit stop.

Sad to say the Latina sisters Marianna & Julia were eliminated in Ouagadougou.

POETIC ROMANCE

Love moves in mysterious ways ika nga.
Di mo talaga alam ang gagawin mo pag nandiyan na ang pana ni Kupido at bulls eyes pa sa puso mo!
Matalino ka nga pero nabobo ka naman pag puso na ang nagdidikta sa utak mo.
Nalilito kasi si Jane dito.Ano ba talaga?

Eto kasi ang naging takbo ng buhay ng famous English author na si Jane Austen.
Honestly, di ko pa nababasa ang mga novels niya. Pero last year napanood ko ang
Pride & Prejudice sa pinilakang tabing. Lalim ng Tagalog ko this time ha ha ha!
Wala lang kasi hanep itong movie na “Becoming Jane”! Napakalalim ng script.
Grabe ang mga English words na ginamit sa screenplay. As in hawak hawak ko palagi si Mr. Webster just in case may word na maibigkas si Anne Hathaway na ngayon ko lang yata narinig??? Ang galing ni Anne kaso di siya pinaganda rito. Ginawa siyang losyang minsan. Simple lang ang ganda niya. Pero nakakabilib ang English accent niya di nga lang masyado deep tulad kay Keira Knightley. Baka di siya mapansin sa Oscars.




Kinikilig ako sa mga eksena niya with James McAvoy as Thomas Lefroy. Hawig siya ni Ryan Agoncillo pala.
Siya si Mr.Tumnus sa The Lion, The Witch & The Wardrobe. Remember him na?




Magaling siya dito! Promising actor ito! Pandrama ang attack niya. Di siya hot masyado na steamy sa kama ba? Pero nagpakita siya ng behind niya when they took a bath in the river kasama ang brother ni Jane. Hmmm…naked in the river with Jane’s brother. Mabilis yun kaya walang arrive. Di ka papawisan.

Ang ganda ng chemistry niya with Anne. Wow! As in they were talking in poetic humor kaya nagustuhan ko mga lines nila. Di ko nga lang memorized mga makalaglag t-back na mga lines niya. Pero ang ganda ng mga banat niya na pwede mo talagang sabihin sa papa o mama mo. I mean lovers ha? hindi parents.



Sa technical naman, hindi papahuli ang cinematography. Hanep sa ganda ng mga scenes. Parang Pride & Prejudice pa rin ang style. Nakaka-inlove tingnan ang photography ng film. Sinamahan pa ng music na talagang bagay sa bawat eksena. Higit sa lahat pinag-aralan din nila ang mga costume designs.

Walang visual effects dito. Magsasawa ka lang talaga sa word effects. He he he.


Gusto ko lang purihin ang acting ng mga supporting actresses. Ang galing ni Mrs. Weasley at Prof. McGonagall. Ooops.. naligaw yata mga Harry Potter characters? Yeah, nandito si Julie Walters & Dame Maggie Smith.


Di pa palabas ito sa atin pero matagal na ito sa UK last March pa.
Ewan ko lang may local distributor ito dito for theater release pero out na kasi ang DVD nito sa UK eh. Bootleg pa lang pala dito. I’m not promoting piracy ha? I have a friend who sells in Quiapo kasi. Wala lang pinapahiram niya ako para ma-review ko raw mga movies.
I’m sorry Papa Edu. Kasi naman kasi di pa palabas sa atin. Late na ako.

Mas maganda sa DVD kasi may subtitle. Mas maiintindihan mo na ang script na super lalim together with their deep British accents.

Warning: this is not a movie for everyone. Di siya popcorn movie ha baka ma-boring ka lang. Sa mga mahilig sa art films. Eto para sa inyo! “Becoming Jane” is one of the most beautiful films of 2007.

WEDDING WARS


Last year I read an article on this “movie made for TV” about gay marriage, it was shown in the US on Dec. 11 2006. Naging excited ako sa movie na ito kasi nandito si McSteamy aka Eric Dane ng Grey’s Anatomy. I’m a huge fan of GA kasi.He is a deadringer for Leo diCaprio. The movie is “Wedding Wars”.The DVD was released already.I don’t know if it was shown here in cable channels.
I reckon they didn’t.





What’s good about Wedding Wars is that it’s a romantic comedy film.
Hanep talaga kahit straight o gay ka you will love this film.
Tawa ako nang tawa from start to finish!




The story is about Shel (Stamos), a gay party planner. He agrees to arrange the wedding for his straight brother Ben played by the sexy Eric Dane) to Maggie played by the awesome Bonnie Somerville), the daughter of Maine's Governor (James Brolin). During their wine tasting, Shel finds out that Ben, a campaign manager for his future father-in-law, is behind the governor's speech against gay marriage. Shel decides to go on strike for equal rights and gay marriage approval. Shel's strike picks up steam and eventually spreads nationwide, leaving the impending wedding vows in the hands of a “baduy” planner.





Kapag gay ka you will love and treasure this film.
The movie tackles about a very sensitive issue na alam ko di papayagan ng church natin.
Kahit sa US alam ko bawal pa rin doon ang same-sex marriage.

Maganda approach nila sa issue. Di siya naging fantasy kundi reality talaga.

Pag nag-start na ang strike ni Shel riot na ang movie. Ha ha ha!
I really love Shel’s character and even his boyfriend.
Nakakatuwa sila.




Gay movie siya pero PG naman kasi walang mga steamy scenes. I’m sure kahit kids pwede manood nito para mamulat naman sila nang maaga sa ganitong issue. Basta dapat nasa tabi mga parents.



Nakakaiyak pala ang song na “Ben” ni Michael Jackson.
They used the song in the movie. WOW!!!! Perfect timing talaga! Kinilig ako! Natuwa ako!Naiyak ako pero ansarap ng feeling ko habang umiiyak ako sa scene na yun with the two brothers. Pinaka-highlight yun ng movie.

Well, if you have time. Watch this.
Highly recommended sa lahat ng gender.

After the tribal council the next morning,. imbyerna si Denise kina Amanda at Courtney. Blindsided kasi siya. She was the only one who voted out for Peih-gee. Parang na-lost siya. The rest kasi they voted for Jean Robert.
Si Peih-gee naman nang-aasar kina James. Nawala nga daw si JR eto naman siya na nakakairita daw according to Todd & James.
Parang outcast nga rin si Peih-gee.

Reward challenge: Dribble the ball sa drums.
Two teams uli. Red & Yellow teams.
Red team kina Peih-gee, James, Todd & Denise.
Yellow team kina Erik, Frosti, Amanda & Courtney.


Wagi Yellow team. Reward nila cruise sa river with chibog to the max!




Next immunity challenge. Memory test on Chinese Zodiac Signs.
Jeff will mention the signs once then they will stab it with a dagger in correct order.


Pero may temptation si Jeff sabi niya pwede kang di sumali at kumain na lang ng hamburgers, French fries with cold drinks. He gave black & stone chips if you choose black it means you will eat and won’t join the challenge. Mga gutom talaga sila James, Todd, Denise & Courtney, they revealed the black chip.


So sila Amanda, Peih-gee, Erik & Frosti lang ang maglalaro.
First round, out agad si Erik.
Next round out din si Amanda.
Third round safe pa rin Peih-gee & Frosti.
Last round, mental blocked si Frosti kaya wagi si Peih-gee.
Timing ang panalo niya kasi siya ang nasa chopping block.



So it’s between Erik & Frosti sino tatanggalin last remaining Zhan Hu members kasi sila. As usual, ang pakialamerang bading na si Todd. Nangampanya na tanggalin si Papa Frosti dahil physical threat daw ito. Si Erik next time na lang daw.


Sa tribal council, as expected di nga ako surprised si Frosti talaga booted out.
