The next morning it rained again so they huddled again on their fav mud cave.
Erik sang a song called “Cave Dwellers.”
REWARD CHALLENGE:
they will be paired up in teams of two. Each team will be separated on opposite ends of a giant maze. They must navigate their way through the maze to find their partner and make it to the center platform. First team to make it to the center wins Reward. To make it even more interesting, they will compete blindfolded.
SURPRISE GUESTS: loved ones!!! They will compete together with the castaways.
Bumaha ng luha sa challenge one by one they were greeted by their loved ones from home: Erik’s mother, Peih-Gee’s father, Courtney’s father, Denise’s husband, and Amanda’s sister. Ito ang parang deja vu from Pearl Islands remember the famous Johnny Fairplay's lie about his grandmother's death?
This time when Todd’s sister, Brandi, hugged him, she revealed tragic news from home. “My other little sister at home was pregnant and lost her baby, but it happened for a reason and she is doing okay and that is what is important,” as umiiyak si Todd ever.
The challenge was funny especially with Amanda and her sister Katrina kasi they were using bird's language. Ha ha ha! Nairita si Denise but in the end as the other Survivors frantically called out for their loved ones, Denise and her husband connected and navigated the final portion of the maze to the top of the platform and won the reward :phone call from home, a boat trip out on the lake and a huge meal and they will stay in the camp for the night.
After winning the Reward, Denise faces a difficult decision--she must select two Survivors and their loved ones to join her and her husband on the Reward. With looks of desperation from the group, Denise is pained over making her choice and ultimately selects Todd and his sister along with Amanda and her sister. Medyo naawa ako kay Peih-gee kasi she was pleading so much na isama siya.
Di ba last week she chose Denise with her.
Meanwhile back at camp while they were enjoying the reward, medyo duda sila sa story ni Todd about his sister's miscarriage sabi ni Courtney: Todd was going for the Oscar with his story of his sister having a convenient miscarriage. That is not like the fake Johnny Fairplay, ‘My Grandma died story’. You can almost forgive that. That is funny!” I love her!!!
Pang-Oscar din ang imitation niya.
But when they returned back to the camp, Todd told Amanda that it wasn't a lie or acting lang.
The next morning their loved ones left and it was a sad morning for Denise and the rest.
IMMUNITY CHALLENGE: The challenge will test the Survivors both physically and mentally, as they race while attached to a rope that snakes through a series of obstacles. At each obstacle, they must maneuver over, under or around it to untangle the rope and continue on the course. At the end of the course are boxes. Each box contains one true statement and one false statement about Chinese history. They must choose the correct statement, grab the corresponding key, and race back to the start, where they will find a box with three locks. If they answer the question correctly, the key will unlock the box and a flag will be raised. If they are wrong, they must head back to retrieve the correct key. First Survivor to answer three questions correctly and open their locks to raise the flag wins Immunity.
It was Amanda & Todd fighting for 1st place but when Amanda got a wrong key it was Todd camp & Peih-gee now racing for the win. On their 3rd key, Todd got a wrong key meanwhile Peig-gee was on her way to to the platform, opened the lock with the correct key, and raised her flag to win the much-needed Immunity necklace, keeping her safe from the vote and guaranteeing her a spot in the final five.
Back at camp, Denise was confused! She was the swing vote. Sabi niya personally, this is do or die. When I get up there I don’t know who I am going to pick.” The vote was between Erik or Todd.
TRIBAL COUNCIL :
The jury members were called and James was pissed off.
There was no tension that night.
Despite Erik and Peih-Gee’s plea, Denise stayed true to her alliance and was the deciding vote that sent Erik packing. Erik became the eleventh person voted out of SURVIVOR: CHINA and the fifth member of the Jury.
