A RECORD FOR THE PINOYS ON THE 7TH LEG OF TAR ASIA 2

At the start of the leg, teams must now drive themselves 80km to the south of Korea, to Seoil Farm, a soya bean paste manufacturer in Anseong, a city in the Gyeonggi Province.

Watching Marc and Rovilson getting help from the Korean Police by clearing the road for them was amazing. Wow! I want to kiss the police for being so kind.

As expected, the other teams do had some difficulty finding their way. As usual the bickering Pinoys started their never-ending shouting. Oh my Trinidad shut up ka muna please! An angry Terri shouted, "We don't have a map. We don't have a map yet! We just keep going and going." Hayyy… Terri is back again as usual!

Meanwhile, the beautiful and cheerful tandem of Paula & Natasha had a flat tire at the tollgate. Good for them coz the kind Korean Police also helped them.

NEXT CLUE: ROADBLOCK
. At Seoil Farm, one of the more prestigious farms producing Korean sauces, one teammate must look through 1,500 soya bean urns for their next clue. With each urn about one meter high, the task will be strenuous as the teammate must lift the heavy lids to uncover the clue.
As an incentive, one of the jars also holds a bonus US$50 together with the clue.

Rovilson was frustrated looking for the clue. Ang kulit pa ni Marc minamadali siya.
He he he.Cute nila panoorin! Eventually, he picked up the clue, just as Pamela and Vanessa arrived at the farm.

Later on, Collin got lucky and found the clue, as well as the bonus.

Back on the road, Henry and Terri were lost and after Henry got some instruction from the police, a very infuriated Terri insisted on driving, instead of relying on her husband.
Lost yet again, Ann and Diane ended up asking a Korean for directions and eventually begged him to lead them to the farm.

Upon arrival, Diane was ready for the roadblock. This is hilarious coz she didn’t read the clue. She opened the first jar and upon seeing it filled to the brim with bean paste, she put her hands in and started digging for the clue. And when she didn’t find anything, she tried sinking her hand in even further. Lucky for her coz a person from the farm told her that she’s doin’ it wrong. How desperated???

NEXT CLUE”
Teams must now drive to Woncheon Resort, where they must find a marked swan boat and paddle themselves to a buoy out in the open waters to pick up their next clue.

I was surprised to see Adrian & Colin being the 1st team to arrive at the resort.
RoviMarc was stucked in a traffic jam but finished the task closely with the boring gym buddies from Singapore.
Meanwhile, the bickering Pinoys were still driving in the middle of nowhere.
The other 5 teams are done with their RB already.
Eventually, Henry and Terri drove to the local library and found a man who leads them to the farm.

NEXT CLUE:
Teams must now drive themselves to the Korean Folk Village in Yong Jin, an open air folk museum for their next clue.

Back at the farm, haay kainis! Maarte na naman si Terri. She did the RB with some complaints here and there but she finished it naman.

NEXT CLUE; DETOUR

In Ho, teams must throw bamboo sticks into a cylindrical container 4 and half meters away. This traditional Korean game requires a steady hand and can be completed without much effort.

Photobucket

In Heavy, teams must use a jigae, a traditional frame rack device used for transporting bulky items, to carry 30 logs to a nearby house. This task is simple but requires strong upper body strength.

First to the village, Collin and Adrian ! Whew! Humahataw na sila huh???

Collin and Adrian picked Heavy, while Marc and Rovilson pick Ho. RoviMarc started tossing sticks but failed to get them into the hole after many attempts.

At the resort, may deadmahan! Inisnab ng mga desperate housewives ang mga Thai princesses! .Natasha said, "There was no sense of team spirit. It was all about them." Paula added, "If they want to be like that, karma will get back at them."

It was a close fight between The Terminator ( the nicks for the gym buddies) & Magnum PI (RoviMarc) on who will finish the DETOUR first.

Who finished first????
Surprisingly, ROVIMARC WON AGAIN FOR THE 5TH TIME!!!!
FIRST PLACE FOR 5 CONSECUTIVE LEGS!!!!!
AMAZING RECORD IN THE HISTORY OF THE AMAZING RACE!!!!

Meanwhile, after leaving the resort, the Malaysian sisters had a mild fight coz they ended up on the wrong road which infuriated Pamela.
They started shouting at each other, and Vanessa broke down into tears, knowing that she led the team the wrong way.

Kung malakas ang sigawan ng Malaysian sisters eh mas dumadagundong naman ang away nila Trinidad. Worried na ako sa kanila.Wala ng teamwork talaga!

Arriving at the village, Paula and Natasha picked Ho as their task of choice but made a wrong turn and ended up in the Heavy task detour.

Photobucket

Oh myGod they are tiny girls but they were carrying heavy loads. Nakakaawa!
Ann and Diane arrived and picked the stick tossing challenge, but soon discovered that they were really desperate with the sticks. They then chose to do the Heavy.
Henry and Terri finally located the resort and started paddling to the clue.
Pamela and Vanessa finally got to the village and picked Ho. They finished it with difficulty.

NEXT CLUE:
Teams must make their way to the Olympic Park in Seoul, Korea, to the seventh pitstop of the race. The last team to arrive may be eliminated.

1ST TEAM; ROVILSON & MARC ( malakas talaga!)
2ND TEAM: ADRIAN & COLLIN ( still boring)
3RD TEAM: PAMELA & VANESSA (really shocked! )
4th TEAM: ANN & DIANE 9( I still hate them)
5th TEAM ; PAULA & NATASHA ( I love them!)
LAST TEAM : HENRI & TERRI (with Good News & Bad News from Allan)

Photobucket

Allan informed them that this is not an elimination round. He added that they have to surrender their money for the next leg of the race.

THIS IS SHOCKING! But for me it’s a good penalty coz on the next leg it’s really impossible for them to finish first place if they were given the other 30-min penalty.
I just can’t wait to see them beg for money next leg.

Terri’s last words: "I hate begging. And I don't want to see Henry begging people. It's not the right thing to do, to beg."
