The Weepies are Awesome!!!

WORLD SPINS MADLY ON
THE WEEPIES!

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Honestly, the first time I heard the group named The Weepies I said huh kapatid ba ito ng The Wreckers? Never heard of the group until I heard their song “World Spins Madly On” in the movie Because I Said So starring Mandy Moore.

Then around June when I bought Mandy Moore’s Wild Hope Album, I read that The Weepies also collaborated with her in this album. It was that time that I became curious about the music of The Weepies.

WATCH THE VIDEO

So I researched all their songs and I tried to download everything from them. Luckily, I got 15 songs. What can I say????

I LOVE THEIR MUSIC!!!!!!!!!!!!!

GREAT SOUND!!!! NICE POETIC LYRICS!!!!

I love all of the songs especially Take It from Me. I think they sampled this track in Mandy’s Extraordinary & Few Days Down. There is a similarity.
Some of the remarkable tracks from them are Painting by Chagall, All That I Want, Gotta Have You, Jolene, Nobody Knows Me At All & Simple Life.

The Weepies’ music will change your life. Believe me!

UNSENT MISSIVES

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

UNSENT

This is my all time fav Alanis' song.
I kinda changed the lyrics coz it's my
own version.

dear john gilver I like you a lot I realize you're in a relationship
with a girl right now and I respect
that I would like you to know that if you're ever horny
in the future and you want to come visit me in Ortigas
I would be open to fucking time with you and finding
out how hot you were when you suck my cock so good.

dear napoleon I liked you too much I used to be attracted to boys
who would kiss to me and think solely about themselves and you
were plenty self-destructive for my taste at the time I used to say
the more lubricant the better the truth is whenever I think of the motel & beach
your face comes up with a cum like it was yesterday

dear clark jason I love you muchly you've been nothing
but frivolous and emotionally erogenous and supportive
and nurturing and consummately there for me I kept fucking you in
and licking you all the way I remember how beautiful it was to fall asleep
on the grass and cry in front of you for the first time you
were the best lover I jilted without giving you notice
What was wrong with me ?????

dear marky you fucked my world you had a problematric way
about you with my friends and you got me
seriously thinking about virginity and you wouldn't let me get away
with kicking my own ass but I could never really feel relaxed and freaked out with you though and that stopped us from going any further
than we did and it's kinda too bad or good because we could've had much more fun

dear roldan we learned so much I realize we won't be able to talk or meet
for some time where are you now ? and I understand that as I miss you
the long distance thing was the hardest and we did as well as we could
we were together during a very short time
in our lives I will always have our pics and video and be curious about you
about your life as a husband and a father now , about your whereabouts.

DAUGHTRY: IT'S NOT REALLY OVER!

Honestly, I have this album by Chris Daughtry in a coon’s age. One week after the release I already bought it. Honestly some tracks didn’t grow on me that fast. I didn’t like it first. I don’t know why?
I was just only listening to It’s Not Over & Home. The rest of the tracks I simply ignored them.

The other night I decided to bring the CD to my work and I played it as my background music while working. Damn! I realized that night after listening to all the 14 tracks that this album is a Grammy-bait! The whole album was produced beautifully.

Chris Daughtry and his band have a long way to run!

“It’s not Over” was the 1st single, I love this song the moment I heard it. Even though the style reminds me of Nickelback it is still good. Some of the outstanding tracks are “Home”- a beautiful ballad. It’s a lachrymose song actually. The song also charted high in the charts. Then there’s another rock ballad “Over You”. Amazing track too. I also enjoy listening to Feels Like Tonight, Breakdown, There and back Again, All These Lives and What About Now.

After Chris was booted out during the American Idol Top 4 night, I was shocked! I couldn’t believe it! But I became optimistic that it wasn’t the end of his career. I predicted that he would be the best-selling Idol on their season. Guess what? Their album was already certified 3x platinum goin 4x now. Where’s Taylor Hicks by the way? Im sorry Taylor coz Chris is the real American Idol. Of course Katharine McPhee too. I love them both.

Anyway, I highly recommend this debut album from Daughtry.

I predict that they will rake in nominations in next year’s Grammy.
Perhaps for BEST NEW ARTIST and maybe Song & Record of the year for “Home”.

I hope they win!
I am praying for it!

REHAB LADY

REHAB

Amy Winehouse - Rehab Lyrics

They Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab But I Said 'no, No, No'

Yes I've Been Black But When I Come Back You'll Know Know Know

I Ain't Got The Time And If My Daddy Thinks I'm Fine

He's Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab But I Won't Go Go Go

I'd Rather Be At Home With Ray

I Ain't Got Seventeen Days

Coz There's Nothing

There's Nothing You Can Teach Me

That I Can't Learn From Mr Hathaway

I Didn't Get Al Lucky At Class

But I Know It Don't Come In A Shot Glass

They Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab But I Said 'no, No, No'

Yes I've Been Black But When I Come Back You'll Know Know Know

I Ain't Got The Time And If My Daddy Thinks I'm Fine

He's Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab But I Won't Go Go Go

The Man Said 'why Do You Think You Here'

I Said 'i Got No Idea

I'm Gonna, I'm Gonna Lose My Baby

So I Always Keep A Bottle Near'

He Said 'i Just Think Your Depressed,

Kiss Me Here Baby And Go Rest'

They Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab But I Said 'no, No, No'

Yes I've Been Black But When I Come Back You'll Know Know Know

I Ain't Got The Time And If My Daddy Thinks I'm Fine

He's Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab But I Won't Go Go Go

I Don't Ever Wanna Drink Again

I Just Ooh I Just Need A Friend

I'm Not Gonna Spend Ten Weeks

Have Everyone Think I'm On The Mend

It's Not Just My Pride

It's Just Til These Tears Have Dried

They Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab But I Said 'no, No, No'

Yes I've Been Black But When I Come Back You'll Know Know Know

I Ain't Got The Time And If My Daddy Thinks I'm Fine

He's Tried To Make Me Go To Rehab But I Won't Go Go Go

More Amy Winehouse Lyrics...

This is one of fav songs right now.
Di maalis sa isip ko ang “no no no ni”Amy.
Yun kasi ang hook di ba?

I really enjoyed her husky voice.
Cool and rusty and dating.

She’s amazing.
Ganda talaga ng Rehab niya.

The video is cool too!

I adore her tattoos too.

INSPIRED BY OPRAH

Dear Oprah
by: Susan Cagle

Few months ago I remember while I was riding an FX to Megamall, the driver was tuned it that time to this cool radio station in Metro Manila Jam88.3.
I was listening to a song being played on air and I instantly loved it.I didn't know the title but the chorus really caught me.The hook was she was singing about Oprah.
The song is really cool and catchy. I love the melody and the lyrics.I researched it and the song was Dear Oprah by Susan Cagle.

Please watch her subway concert and I'm sure youwill love this song.
click this site:

WATCH HER SUBWAY CONCERT

Lyrics to the song:
I am broken
Got a problem
And my world is crashing down
I'm writing with the hope that my letter will be found
Don't expect you to read it
Probably got better things to do
I got no one to turn to
So I'm turning to you
I'm out on a ledge
I'm stepping to the edge
I'm at the end of my rope
You gotta give me some hope

Dear Oprah
You see I had to run away
Dear Oprah
And I ain't got nowhere to stay
I hope ya
I hope ya never feel this way
Probably got your own stuff to deal with anyway

It's shocking
What its come to
How my life is such a mess
How quickly you can loose it all
And I lost it I confess
Had a bad life, a bad home, and a messed up family
and I woke up one morning and got myself free

Dear Oprah
you see I had to run away
Dear Oprah
And I ain't got nowhere to stay
And I hope ya
I hope ya never feel this way
Probably got your own stuff to deal with anyway
Dear Oprah

Dear Oprah
Have you ever felt like breaking down
When there ain't no one who cares around
Were you feeling this way
Back in the day so blue
What did you do

Dear Oprah

Dear Oprah
You see I had to run away
Dear Oprah
And I ain't got nowhere to stay
And I hope ya
I hope ya never feel this way
Probably got your own stuff to deal with anyway
Dear Oprah

And I'm writing a letter, yeah
And I'm feelin' better, yeah

Dear Oprah
I hope ya never feel this way
Probably got your own stuff to deal with anyway
Guess I'll turn the tv on and see what you've got to say
Dear Oprah

COLD BLADES

BLADES OF GLORY

The first time I saw the trailer of Blades of Glory last March I was laughing so hard. I told myself that time I gotta watch this flick. Pero ilang months na lumipas di pa rin showing sa Pinas.Ano ba yan? Bakit ganun? #1 movie sa US pa naman ito. Naiinip na ako kasi April sa US tapos July na wala pa rin. Ayoko naming panoorin sa bootleg DVD dahil super labo at saka magagalit si Papa Edu. So wait pa rin ako. Buti na lang naawa ang SM Cinemas at pinalabas nila exclusive lang sa mga malls nila last August. May premiere pa nga eh sa MOA. Ambait nga ng Getzmo kasi nanalo pa ako ng tickets. Sad to say I wasn’t able to use ‘em coz night shift job ko. Sasayaw pa ako sa dilim.Joke!

Lately I was able to squeeze in my time to watch the blades of Wil & Jon. So what’s my verdict?

It was just fine. Actually, lahat ng highlights nasa trailer na. Given na lahat. So sad.
Pero kahit napanood ko na sa trailer, nakakatawa pa rin ang mga scenes ng dalawa.
I must say that the first skating presentation as in comeback performance nila. Pamatay yun! Hanep ang interpretation nila sa isang famous Aerosmith song. Ha ha ha!!!
Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Actually, agaw eksena dito si Will. Yun kasi style niya sa lahat ng movies niya. Then si Jon Heder kung ano siya sa Napoleon Dynamite ganun din dito. Boring but funny.

Well, may mga fight scenes with the antagonists pero super-nincompoop ang dating lalo na yung last part. Ewan. What the hell?

Anyway, pag fan ka ni Will & Jon. Watch this. Pag hindi naman watch mo na lang ang DVD. Out na kasi sa US last Aug. 28.
If you love figure skating so much, wag mo palampasin ito. May pinakita silang dangerous act na halos himatayin ako sa kaba. Ha ha ha!

I think mas magada pa manood ng skating competitions sa MOA o sa Megamall.
Pero cool pa rin naman ito. Konti lang.
Enjoy.

THE GOOD GERMAN

The Lives of Others

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

Last February, a film from Germany won as Best Foreign Language Film at the Annual Oscar Awards. “The Lives of Others” beat Mexico’s Pan’s Labyrinth. I really thought that the latter was the frontrunner coz it was the most popular and it received multiple nominations. Surprisingly, the poignant film from Germany won!

I don’t know if this film will be released here in the Philipines on the big screen. My only bet is the CineEuropa soon. Good news coz the DVD is already available in the US. I wanna thank my lover for giving me a copy.

So…deserving as the Oscar winner???? YES! For me, The Lives of Others is one of the greatest films ever made. I truly, madly, deeply love this film!

This picture reminds me of Amelie from France. They both have excellent original screenplay and remarkable photography. I mean stylized look. Have you seen this French film? It is highly recommended!!! Amelie is my all-time Best Foreign Language Film. Still #1 in my heart. I fell in love with Audrey Tautou honestly. ***blush***

There were no bodacious visual effects in The Lives of Others.
Just expect a moving story, great acting & pristine direction.

The Lives of Others takes place in a world of systematic terror and cold paranoia just before the 1989 fall of Berlin Wall. This thriller drama involves the monitoring of the cultural scene of East Berlin by agents of the Stasi, the secret police.

Honestly this film is not for everybody. This is an “art film”.
To all popcorn-flick lovers, you may watch but prepare your pillow.
You may catch 40-winks. I admit that in the first 8 minutes I was perplexed.
“What is this? Should I continue this film?” I was bored. But just wait for at least 10 minutes coz a spine-chilling scene is about to start.

If you are open-minded to loquacious films then don’t miss this.

Actually, the main character Weisler portrayed by the late Ulrich Mühe is hushed. I heard that he died last July 2007 due to stomach cancer. So melancholy... Anyway, in the film he was acting quietly but you can feel his key performance. He was a genius when it comes to functionary mask. His eyes and his lips were so enigmatic. Especially the last scene coz I shed a tear and clapped loudly in my living room. He was a good actor. He won as Best Actor in Germany and some European Film Festivals.

This film teaches us about human faith. By the way, watching the lives of others is sometimes helpful.

HIGH SCHOOL MUSICAL 2 ALBUM

Cool

I’ve been listening to the new album for the nth time now. I love it!!!
Cool album!
If the first one is refreshing?
This one is really cool!!!

There are 11 tracks which were also featured in the movie-musical except the last track.

What Time is it? – This is one is a Bang!!!! It’s really frivolous and hot on the dance floor! Great track from the whole cast. Great welcome song!
WATCH THE VIDEO
Fabulous – a very cute song from Sharpay & Ryan. Yeah, so fabulous. The intro though sounds like Part of Your World from A Little Mermaid.
Work This Out – this is one of my fav coz it’s groovy and I love the urban hook.
You are the music in Me – A lovesong from Troy & Gabriella. It’s beautiful especially on the last part.WATCH THE VIDEO
I don’t Dance – This is ok for me but Chad & Ryan were tryin’ to imitate Michael Jackson & Justin Timberlake. It’s still a cool song.
You are the music in me – This one is Sharpay’s version. It’s a joke but you will love her coz she’s funny. Troy is also here in his awkward voice. Funny track.
Gotta Go My Own way – One of the best songs from the album too. It’s poignant and Vanessa Hudgens can really sing with soul. Though the melody sounds like a song from Jesse Mccartney.
Bet On It- My fav track coz it’s unique. It shows the future of Zac Efron. He could be a next big pop star.
Everyday – This one reminds me of Breaking Free from the 1st album and Happy Days from Sister Act 2. Yeah… rip-off? I don’t know. But I still love this song coz it’s really catchy.WATCH THE VIDEO
All For One – Another great track that features the whole cast. This one also reminds me of We’re All In this Together .It still gave me a zesty splash.
Humuhumunukunukukuapua’a- This is the bonus track from Ryan & Sharpay.
A very cute song for the summer. Hawaiian song to dance. I like it too.

Well, I love this 2nd and I’m still not sick & tired listening to the songs just like the 1st album. What are you waiting for??? Buy the album now!!!!

THE ULTIMATE RACE

THE BOURNE ULTIMATUM

I’ve been following JB’s life ever since his identity was revealed and became supremacy afterwards. Nope, not James Bond but America’s very own Jason Bourne!

After watching “probably the worst “3rd” of the summer” last week, I am referring to Rush Hour 3 of course; I was so relieved that I ended my “3rd quest” with an enormous magnificent bang!!! Thanks to “The Bourne Ultimatum”! One of the most enjoyable & satisfying films of the summer. Just my 2 cents. Ok, it is the best film of 2007 during “Rainy season” here in RP.

I’m still wondering if they used the Filipino Martial Arts in the film. The fight scenes are comparable to Die Hard 4 where our very own M.A. was used, proud to say yes our very own stunts! I just can’t stop commending the fight scenes. So gripping! Great execution from the Talented Mr. Ripley I mean Damon.

Honestly, it’s like watching The Amazing Race again. The camera shots are similar to my fav reality show. That’s why I enjoyed this so much. Of course, JB was traveling from one country to another. Taxi here, bus there, train here, plane there etc…
I love his ultimate race!

Of course, thanks to Julia Stiles. I really like her. She’s different. She ain’t that pulchritudinous but there is something in her. Unfathomable beauty???

Well, please catch this ultimate film. I guarantee that you won’t leave your seat even if nature calls. Gosh, I endured my “pee pain”. Is it the right term? LOL !

HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

THE COLOR & WEIGHT OF MUSIC

What is the color of music?

What is the weight of music?

The answers are in Hairspray!

I suggest that you should watch this amazing stage play adaptation of the Tony Award-winning 2002 Broadway musical of the same name. This is now included in my list as one the best and most entertaining movie adaptation of a musical. I also love the message of the film. If you enjoyed Chicago & Rent then Hairspray is your next Broadway stop!

Honestly, I wasn’t familiar with the songs from the musicall before watching it here on its first day showing. So I was clueless about Hairspray. The film opened with a beautiful & unforgettable song titled “Good Morning Baltimore”. I instantly love it coz Tracy the pleasantly plump girl is really gorgeous when she is dancing & singing. I almost forgot that she is kinda overweight. Nikki Blonsky is really perfect in her role. I read that she was the lucky winner during the audition. Good for her! She is the main character in the film and she sang most of the songs. She is cute! I just love her rendition of I Can Hear the Bells.

Intermittently, I was hypnotized with the songs and the dance choreography.
Wow! The songs are awesome. Very catchy & makes you wanna dance with them.
They are groovy and tasty.

Watch out for songs like “The Nicest Kids In Town” ,”It Takes Two”, “Ladies’ Choice” & “Without Love” coz Zac Efron from High School Musical is also here as Link. I didn’t even recognize him maybe he is cuter when he is blonde. He is sporting raven hair here. They made him like Elvis Presley. By the way, James Marden you know Cylclops from X-men can really sing and shake his bon-bon too! Watch out ladies!

I was surprised to see an amazing ensemble. John Travolta portrays a mother role and he did it so well. Michelle Pfeiffer was an amazing antagonist as well as a racist. Both starred in Grease 1 & 2 respectively. Greasy huh? Queen Latifa brought the house down too as Motormouth Mabel. Amanda Bynes is such a cutie bitchy teen. Christoper Walken filled some humor too.

I really wish that they will show the sing-along version of this film here coz I heard that in the US they are showing it so that the audience can interact with the film. It will be an amazing experience I guess. Definitely I will watch it again!

It’s palpable that I really love this film. I know you will enjoy this too. By the way, don’t abscond during the end credits coz you’ll hear 3 new songs not featured in the film. I look forward that “Come So Far (Got So far To Go)” will be nominated for Best Original Song in the Golden Globe & Oscar next year and hopefully will win the award. Well, I am optimistic that this film will rake nods from left to right. Let’s see.

Moreover, the art direction and costume design of the 60’s is really believable.

Adam Shankman is the director and also the choreographer and he did awesome just like his previous family flicks like A Walk To Remember & The Pacifier.

Run and tell that HAIRSPRAY is the most magical color of music and you can’t stop the beat!!!!!

CAPTIVATING PANORAMA

MISS POTTER

This is one of the most beautiful films to be considered when it comes to the scenery.Wow the place is charming and its a dream place for every writer in the world.Thats why Miss Potter was captivated with the magic of the spellbinding natural landscape.

This film was based on the life of a best-selling British Children Author; Beatrix Potter. Academy Award Winner Renee Zellwegger played the role and its her reunion with Ewan McGregor after their first film Down With Love. I remember reading Miss Potters books when I was still a toddler. Actually, in the film when she was starting to draw and talk to her lovable characters I shed a tear coz I had flashbacks on my kindergarten books. and sad to say I didnt have a nice childhood. Weep. :~(

The script is just ok. Her lifes story is not that enormous but you would still love the lovely Miss Potter. Actually, this is also a film for spinsters. There is still hope & magic out there.

I would like to commend Renee coz she performed the role remarkably. She can really act and speak British fluently thanks to Bridget Jones.

I missed this during the cinema run but I recently bought the DVD coz its out already and I highly recommend this to all British Film lovers.

Miss Potter is a stunning film but not as huge as Harry Potter. I am pretty sure many muggles were intrigued if this is more like the story of the Boy Wizard. Not exactly!Lets wait for a decade or more and we will see another film about a British author. How bout Mrs. Rowling???That would be awesome!

HEY IVE SEEN THIS BEFORE! DEJA VU?

DEJA VU

There was a weak-word-of-mouth about this movie when it was shown here in the Philippines earlier this year so I wasnt able to catch the theatre run. I wasnt that agog. The video is already out so I decided to watch this since this was also produced by Jerry Bruckheimer.

Actually, its like watching Harry Potter & the Prisoner of Azkaban. That turn-back-time scenes of Harry & Hermione is comparable to DEjA vu. This time its modern and sophisticated. I was overwhelmed with the twists coz I really love watching this type of movie. I like the time continuum scenes of Denzel. He is really a good actor. Jim Caviezel is also good as the antagonist.

There are only few action scenes but expect some explosions. Bruckheimers trademark you know.

The film is dedicated to all the survivors of New Orleans. So expect some music from the soulful city. Macy Gray performed the theme song. Its a sad song about turning back time.

Its really a good movie. I felt delightful after the last scene. You will think about the phenomenon called Dj vu.

LOQUACIOUS & ATROCIOUS

RUSH HOUR 3

I enjoyed Rush Hour 2 and early this year I wept while watching Rob-B-Hood so I told myself why not watch this new Jackie Fan movie?

Well, it was just ok. Typical no-brainer popcorn flick. Predictable stunts. Palpable double stunts. Same Jackie Chan stunts but still enjoyable. Watch out for the gripping Eiffel Tower scene I think its the only highlight of the movie.

For me the only problem here is Chris Tucker. Sometimes his punch lines are funny and most of the time he is corny and tend to be hammy going to corny. Their chemistry didnt click anymore or maybe I was just sick & tired watching them for the third time.

Another 3rd for this Summer? We had Spiderman 3, Shrek 3, Pirates 3, Oceans 13 & The Bourne Ultimatum. I dont know if Rush Hour 3 is the worst. Lets wait for the Razzies next year to decide. At least they showed the beautiful Paris but I already saw most of it in Amelie, The Da Vinci Code . Ratatouille. & in The Amazing Race. Honestly, Id rather watch episodes of TAR with Paris as their destination for Pit Stop.

Anyway, this is a 5 star film for a huge Jackie Chan & Chris Tucker fan but not for everybody.

Hmmmm....if I were you Id rather wait for the DVD and Cable TV premiere.

MANDY MOORE'S WILD HOPE

I'm listening to the new album of Mandy Moore.” WILD HOPE".
This is her 5th after her "COVERAGE" which I really love. This one offers new songs.
CLASSY ALBUM!

For Wild Hope, Mandy collaborated with producer John Alagia (Dave Matthews Band, Liz Phair) and has written material for the first time: she wrote/co-wrote songs with Rachael Yamagata, Chantal Kreviazuk, Michelle Branch, Lori McKenna and indie pop-folk duo The Weepies.

The good thing about in this album is that she co-wrote all the songs. It has 12 tracks in it. The way she wrote her songs I think she can be compared already to Sarah McLachlan, Tori Amos, Jewel, Amanda Marshall & Michelle Branch. She is now a sophisticated and cozy singer/songwriter.

Songs I really love are "Extraordinary"(her first single),very cute "All Good Things", very catchy "Slummin' In Paradise", cool "Few Days Down", ambitious "Most Of Me", posh "Nothing That You Are", refreshing "Latest Mistake", enigmatic Ladies Choice, dreamy “Gardenia” and my ultimate favorite of all the best "Wild Hope".
There is a beautiful hook!!!!
Basta naaadik na ako sa mga songs niya dito. Heavy rotation sa player ko!

I guarantee that if you're a huge Mandy fan you will definitely fall in love with "Wild Hope"
This is so far the best album she ever had!

EXTRAORDINARY

I was a bay tree
Quiet and unseen
I lived in stories but inside I kept a mystery
I was a starling
Nobody's darling
Flying around in perfect circles just for company

And now I'm ready
And now I'm ready
And now I'm ready to be extraordinary

A midnight airplane
A window blowing
I know I am another sparkle in the sky
I shine on copper
Still undiscovered
But you might see me in the corner of my eye

And now I'm ready
And now I'm ready
And now I'm ready to be extraordinary

Waking up to wake up someday
I am my own parade
Stopping off at a sidewalk cafe
Wind is playing in threes
Kick up confetti leaves
Seems as if it's all to say

And now I'm ready
And now I'm ready
And now I'm ready to be extraordinary

And now I'm ready
And now I'm ready
And now I'm ready to be extraordinary

VISIT HER MYSPACE

ANDREA CORR'S 10 FEET HIGH

I recently bought Andrea’s Debut Album. Nope, The Corrs is not breaking up. They’re just taking a long hiatus for their families.
Jim, Sharon & Caroline have kids to take care right now.
Since Andrea is still single but happy. She released her solo album.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

What can I say???
She is awesome.
Her voice is still palpable that she’s part-Corrs. This time you can’t recognize the sound of her siblings’ trademark.
You will miss the Celtic/folk/pop touch.
Andrea’s 10 Feet Higher is a must collection for a hardcore fan of the group just like me.

Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket

There are 11 tracks.

Hello Boys
- it’s kinda like funky pop/rock . I like it. It’s a seductive song actually.

Anybody There- I love the piano hook here.

Shame On You
- the 1st single. It’s very political. It is anti-War and I love the angst in this song. I love dancing with this.
I Do- it’s short but cute but it sounds like Psapp’s Cozy In The Rocket.

10 Feet High- it’s the title track and very soothing. The intro reminds me of Children by Robert Miles. Ripoff? I don’t know but I like this too.

Champagne From A Straw- This is one my favs. I love this instantly. The song is so frivolous. Very catchy.I think this is next single.

24 hours – a very serious track but nice and I feel like dancing!

This is what it’s all About- a very romantic love song. I love the acoustic vibe of the guitar. Enchanting performance from her too.

Take me I’m Yours – wow this track flabbergasted me. You won’t recognize Andrea’s voice here. This track is electronica inspired. It’s cool by the way.

Stupidiest Girl In the World – the song is not that stupid in fact it’s very angry. But, she didn’t sound so furious at all. It’s like she’s hiding it inside. Clever song.

Ideal World – this is the only song where you can tell that she’s from THE CORRS. Their sound is present here especially when Sharon’s violin begins to cry. I love this last track.

Ten Feet High is Andrea Corr's debut solo album. Previously entitled Present, the album is produced by Nellee Hooper whose credits include U2, Gwen Stefani, Madonna & Björk and is executive produced by U2's Bono. The album is due for release on June 25, 2007 with the lead single, "Shame on You (to Keep My Love from Me)", being released on June 18, 2007.

All the songs on the album have been composed by Andrea herself, save for one: a cover of the first Squeeze hit "Take Me I'm Yours". According to unnamed sources in an article from Hot Press Magazine in January 2007, the album will be different from The Corrs' sound

SHAME ON YOU VIDEO

SHAME ON YOU LYRICS

You left me thinking what a bore
I'm always stuck inside
I've got a feeling there is more
Than I've been left behind
A lot of pain a lot of noise
That these four walls hide
Happy faces go to war.
And dance upon the mines

Chorus
Come join come join come join us
Your barely young come join us
Youd be a man come join come join us
You're big and strong come join us

You planted me in foreign ground
A pen within a hand
At least I am not on my own
In hell I have a friend
I know I find (innocence) ashamed?
It isn't my crusade
Dirty faces in a war
Asleep in open graves

Come join come join come join us
]
Your barely young come join us
You'll be a man come join come join us
Your big and strong come join us
Shame on you shame on you shame on you
To keep my love from me-shame on you
Shame on you shame on you
To keep my love from me
Shame on you shame on you shame on you
To keep my love from me

Shame on you-close your eyes to see shame on you shame on you
Shame on you shame on you shame on you
To keep my love from me
When you close your eyes to see
You block your heart to me?
You changed his name to a number?
But he survives a child

This is my PHENOMENAL!!!!!!!!
This is my favorite album so far in my collections.
Carrie Underwood is my ultimate American Idol.
She is the best country-pop singer for me to date!

I’ve been listening to the album for more than a year now!
I am really in-love with all the songs here.
The first single Inside Your Heaven is simply the winning song. It went straight to #1.
The lead-off single Jesus, Take The Wheel made her win as the Best New Artist & Best Country Female Vocal in the Grammys. She also won awards in Billboard, CMA & CMA. Here click this: HER AWARDS

Don’t Forget to Remember Me, Some Hearts, Before He Cheats, Wasted, The Night Before, Starts With Goodbye, We’re Young And Beautiful, & I Aint In Checotah Anymore are some of the most notable and really amazing songs in the album.
You cannot skip a track actually.

Her album is certified sextuple platinum already.
Simon Cowell was really right from the start!
